Customers rave about the offering's quality—like Nina Sohler, who felt her experience was "perfect" and described the iced matcha as “sweet” just like the service she received from the incredibly warm staff.

Both Maryline Zeravica and Lucas Zeravica were captivated by the authentic vibe at SARASA, praising the owner’s "solar smile" and highlighting the cafe's attention to detail. The joy of sipping matcha in this rustic yet chic setting is undeniable—where each drink is a labor of love poured into a beautiful ceramic vessel. Plateofkiwi captures it best: “A beautiful and considered small space with relaxing ambience.” Here, you can take a moment to appreciate the meticulous preparation of your tea, made right before your eyes, showcasing the cafe's dedication to delivering an authentic Japanese tea experience.

For those looking to indulge beyond the beverage menu, the dango charcoal grilled is a must-try, a recommendation shared by Jh Lee, who also relished the hojicha latte. Every bite and sip exemplifies the quintessence of Japanese hospitality and culinary tradition. SARASA also excels in providing assistance to its visitors, ensuring you feel welcomed and guided during your stay. If the weather turns, as it did on Jh Lee's visit, the friendly staff will guide you toward nearby attractions like Nara Park, showcasing their commitment to customer care.

Everything was perfect. The lady who served us was incredibly sweet. Like her iced matcha, served with small pieces of cookies, just as sweet. A moment suspended in Naramachi.

Absolute gem for a green tea lover. This is a beautiful and considered small space with relaxing ambience and wonderful quality matcha. Combination of traditional japanese architecture and contemporary design was really tasteful. The lady prepares tea carefully in front of you with attention and love. The tea is delicious and so are deserts on the menu served on lovely ceramics. We both had matcha tea there and macaroons. Our baby is unfortunately too little for matcha kicks

Fancy and traditional japan mood mixed up. Really like here atmosphere. Had a dango charcoal grilled. It was a good experience and very taste hojicha latte :) When we went out, suddenly started raining and the staff explained how to go to Nara Park. It was helpful. Thanks to the staff :)

This was an amazing experience. The atmosphere is really relaxing as the lady prepares the tea in front of you. The food is presented in a simple yet refined style. But the tea was the best part. The quality of the sencha is exceptional, prepared with different water temperatures, and eaten as a side dish at the end. I definitely recommend this place if you are a tea amateur !

Such a hidden gem of a tea and shaved ice shop in a small traditional street, with minimalistic decor and six seats only. What a delightful find
